Please note that the Together for Sutton Single Point of Access and partnership are closed from 1pm on 24th  December 2025.

All Together for Sutton online referrals will be monitored throughout the holiday (29th, 30th and 31st December) and any urgent referrals responded to where possible. You can complete our online referral form here.

Please note that the majority of Together for Sutton partner services will return to their usual open hours from 2nd January 2026, with Healthwatch Sutton and Sutton Carers Centre reopening on 5th January.

Advocacy for All - Closed from 3pm, 24th December.

Please note, Advocacy for All will be open as normal throughout the 29th, 30th and 31st December, closed for the New Year Bank Holiday and open again from 2nd January.

Age UK Sutton - Closed from 1pm, 24th December.

Please note, calls outside of these hours and during the Bank Holidays will be answered by Age UK Advice Line (National Service).

Citizens Advice Sutton - Closed from 1pm, 24th December.

Please note, online referrals will be monitored by Citizens Advice Sutton throughout the holiday (29th, 30th and 31st December) and any urgent referrals responded to where possible.

Healthwatch Sutton - Limited staffing from 22nd December, closed from 1pm, 24th December, back open on Monday 5th January.

Sutton Carers Centre - Closed from 8pm, Tuesday 23rd December, back open on Monday 5th January.

Volunteer Centre Sutton - Closed from 1pm, 24th December.

In the case of an emergency, please contact the Emergency Services on 999 and if you are worried about being overheard, you can make a silent call by pressing 55. The call handler will then stay silent, listen to the situation and organise the correct help.

For non-emergencies, please contact 101

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, or care for someone in crisis, please contact the Sutton Mental Health Foundation Crisis Cafe on 0800 012 9082 or visit their website for available support here. 

If you live in Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton or Wandsworth and you need urgent support, you can also access the Mental Health Crisis Line on 0800 028 8000 or visit their website here. 

Young people and their parents and carers can contact the South London Partnership CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) Crisis Line on0203 228 5980 (open every day, Monday-Sunday, from 9am to 11pm). Outside of these hours, you will hear an automated message and be prompted to select your local 24hrs Mental Health Crisis Line.

You can also get urgent mental health support by calling NHS 111 and pressing 2 for Mental Health.

You can also access PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide Hopeline247 on 0800 068 41 41 (this service is available 24 hours a day).

Food vouchers leading up to the holidays.

Should you need access to food vouchers in the lead up to Christmas and New Years, please contact Sutton Council’s Welfare Benefits Team ahead of the holidays on 020 8770 6022 or during this period, it might be best to drop your contact details in an email to the team inbox welfarereform@sutton.gov.uk and a member of the team will be back in contact with you (usually within 1 working day). This inbox will be monitored throughout the Christmas period between 9-4pm (excluding Bank Holidays).

Emergency food vouchers during the holidays.

Please note that Together for Sutton's Single Point of Access will be monitoring urgent referrals throughout the holidays (29th, 30th and 31st December) and will be able to issue emergency food vouchers during this time online only. You can complete our online referral form here, however please note that this is for urgent referrals only.

Should you find yourself in a crisis situation, please also note that the Sutton Mental Health Foundation's Crisis Cafe will be open and ready to support you with food vouchers during the holidays. You can contact them on 0800 012 9082 or visit their website for available support here. 

Warm Meals & Warm Spaces.

Should you need access to food cupboards or warm meals, please search the Sutton Information Hub for your closest access point here.

If you are homeless or think you will be soon, you can contact Sutton Council on 020 8770 5000 or you can email the Sutton Council Housing Advice Team here.

If your situation is an emergency, you should call and they will respond within 4 hours, whereas emails may be responded to within two working days.

Sutton Night Watch are available to support those at risk of homelessness. Please visit them at 35 Manor Road, Wallington, Surrey, SM6 0BW or call them on 020 8669 9920 where you will be able to access warm food, a warm shower, clothes and essentials

Food Banks.

Should you need access to Food Banks during the holidays, please go to the Sutton Information Hub and search for 'food'. This will allow you access to all support available that is open during the holidays. 

Please note, with some of the Food Shops, you will need to register with them first in order to get access, so please do plan ahead where possible.

Many of the Food Banks and Food Shops will be closed on the Christmas bank holidays, so please do plan ahead where possible.
