Together for Sutton and members of the NHS and Primary Care Networks were recently privileged to work together in supporting our Sutton Indian community for their very special Ram Leela event which took place on 28th and 29th October.

We as the TfS partnership are proud to take part, celebrate and raise awareness of key issues during national awareness weeks and days.

On 26 November 2023, Community Action Sutton & Together for Sutton had the honour of being invited by the Hong Kong Nursing Association UK (HKNAUK) to participate in the Sutton Firework Party.

With a little bit of Christmas magic and some amazing teamwork, Together for Sutton, SES Water and a local Greggs organised £500 worth of Greggs gift cards for 50 guests at Sutton Night Watch, helping some of our most vulnerable residents to have a hot meal or two throughout the Christmas holidays.

Through collaborative working, our Community Action Sutton Health Inequalities Development Workers and Together for Sutton supported the Wallington INT to deliver a brilliant event on 25th Jan at Roundshaw’s Phoenix Centre, focussing on a Healthy You!

With Kate coming into a number of laptops and mobile phones this month, she managed to get them all inventoried and gifted to organisations across the borough to prevent our residents from feeling digitally excluded.

With the first of it’s kind, Sutton hosted an all-inclusive LGBTQIA+ Afternoon Tea on 21st February with over twenty Sutton services joining us on the day.

Together for Sutton were lucky to be gifted another handful of laptops, large monitors and mobile phones in March, and were honoured to pass them on to both Royal Mencap and Sutton Vision to support their Service Users in the London Borough of Sutton.

We’re pleased to have supported Talk Money Week 2024 in the hope to help break down barriers and get people of all ages and abilities talking about money.
