As local Charities, we wanted to take the opportunity to reject the recent violence and hatred we have been seeing and to express our solidarity with those who have been targeted.

As Charities working in Sutton, we reject the actions we have seen across the country and the rhetoric that is driving it and we reject racism, Islamophobia and religiously-motivated acts of hate. 

Our mission is through our principles and our actions, to move the world as it is, towards the world that we would hope to see.  We do this through trust, relationship-building and collaboration.  We do this through love.

There is no place for hate and division in our country or in our communities and we stand together in our condemnation of racism, Islamophobia and discrimination in all forms – and in the celebration of the diversity of our communities. 

To those of you who are scared and worried, we stand with you.  To those of you who are dismayed and feel hopeless, we ask that you join us.
