We wanted to create a space that felt safe and welcoming to support our LGBTQIA+ community to come along and find out about our Sutton services and offerings, all whilst enjoying a spot of afternoon tea. And I think we all achieved that. A huge “Thank You” to everyone who joined us on the day, it was lovely to meet so many new Sutton residents.
Sutton LGBTQ+ Forum & Trans Clinic
The vibe was lovely, with everyone celebrating LGBTQIA+ history month and there was a plethora of cakes to go round!
Everyone chatted over a cuppa (and of course cake) and our Sutton teams learnt more about how to ensure our services are accessible and inclusive. Everyone is learning all the time, and having events like this helps everyone to ensure we are all working together towards a common goal, a goal to help people.
No one in Sutton should ever feel alone, we have so many local services that can help with most problems, you just need to know who to speak to! And this is the beauty of Together for Sutton, our independent, impartial, free and confidential information and advice service, the ideal contact if you are not sure who can help you professionally or personally.
Cranstoun Transform, Sutton Domestic Abuse Services.
