Red Weather Warning 24 June 2026

A Red Heat-Health Alert has been issued across the Midlands and Southern England until 25 June 2026.

This is the highest level of alert and indicates a risk to everyone's health, not just vulnerable groups.

So how does this affect us? What can we do to protect ourselves and others from these unpredictable weather conditions? Here are a few simple things you can do to help yourself, your family, friends and community:

❀️ Check in on older people & those with a health or mental health condition.

πŸ—ΊοΈ Use and promote our Cool Spaces map, for those who seek respite while out and about.

πŸ’§ Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.

😎 Avoid being out in the sun from 11am - 3pm.
