What is a Carer?

Anyone could be a Carer! An 80-year-old woman looking after her husband who has Alzheimer’s disease, a 40-year-old man caring for his partner who has terminal cancer, or a 15-year-old looking after a parent with alcohol dependency and a little brother who has autism.

If you look after a friend or family member due to illness, disability, mental health condition or a substance use, our TfS partner, Sutton Carers Centre, are there for you.
